Mental Rehearsal of the Exam Situation
This exam tip is one that *hardly any* students bother with, but it can make a MASSIVE difference to your score on the day.
Here's how to do it:
a) Find out as much as possible about the setting where you will take the exam
b) Sit in a quiet place, close your eyes, and take the time to relax your whole body. If you like taking a warm bath, that's an ideal place! Or just sitting on your couch when you're home alone and not going to be interrupted.
c) In your mind, imagine as vividly as possible yourself sitting and taking your exam. Use all your senses. See your surroundings, hear the quiet noises in the room, feel the seat you're sitting on! And as you do this, imagine yourself answering the questions with a cool, calm confidence.
d) Do this several times a week. In the run up to your exam, do it every day if you can!
Trust me, this one technique will give you a great edge over your fellow test-takers.
